Anchoring in EUt+

The ECROS project is connected to the activities of the European University of Technology (EUt+). This European University Alliance established under the European Commission’s flagship European Universities initiative. In the alliance nine technological university partners from across Europe bring together more than 110.000 students and 10.000 staff. The mission of EUt+ is to fundamentally reimagine the role of technological higher education and research in Europe grounded in the shared belief that technology must always serve society.

This is articulated as “Think Human First – European Values Empowering Technology” to show the alliance’s commitment to placing human values at the core of technological progress.

In ECROS the EUt+ alliance partners build a strong project consortium together with industrial partners and young researcher associations for creating a cohesive talent ecosystem to empower early career researchers and support the diversification of research careers. Thereby, ECROS complements the alliance’s academic activities for post-graduate students through offering to doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers new opportunities and skills training for gaining real-world experiences and industry networking. Together the project consortium aims to foster the professional development of early career researchers across Europe and contribute to the European Research Area (ERA).
